I made this graphic for The Heartland CL's, when I was a Community Leader.
I enjoyed my two years in the CL program, as a CL, and as the Heartland Valley Co-Liaison. I met a lot of nice people!
The Heartland Communities have SO many features of interest ... and the information changes often. More things for homesteaders to get involved with are added ALL the time. | |
So ... it has become impossible for me to keep up with it all!! But, everything is listed, in detail at the HHQ (Heartland Headquarters) pages. Please be sure to visit there (bookmark it too!) for all the details!! |
First,
there's the Heartland Headquarters (HHQ). Do you want to become a Heartland Community Leader? Yes, it's a lot of work, and it's not always easy ... honestly. But it is rewarding to be able to help other homesteaders, and I also learned by helping others ('cuz I don't know everything about everything ... but was able to ask others to get the answers). There is an application form to fill out, and you can look it over and review the questions and do any research you need. When you're ready, fill it out, you and your pages will be reviewed and then recommendations are passed on to GeoCities, for the final determination. |
I
was the Co-Liaison for Heartland Valley from January '98, to January '99.
It was a pleasure being a CL for two years. While I was the CL in '97, responsible
for Heartland Plains addresses 1000-1249, I came accross many pleasureable and honorable pages. The list of my former blocks' Heartland Hall of Honor Homesteads, as awarded by me, is available on the Heartland Good Citizen Award page in this area. |
That's it (for now ...) of all the Heartland Committees and groups --
here to help YOU, and here for you to become involved in
and share YOUR interests, too! Read the info on Geocities, too!
