RPG Maker is a program that allows you to make any RPG your mind can think up. It was never released in english so Don Miguel took matters into his own hands and translated the program from japanese to english along with the help of KanjiHack.
There are several versions of RPG Maker. The first (and my personal favorite) is RPG Maker 95. The second is RPG Maker 2000. The third is RPG Maker 2003. And the most recent is RPG Maker XP. Some ask me why RPG Maker 95 is still my favorite even though it is the oldest version. It's because out of all the RPG Maker programs I find it to be the most practical. Its easy to use and versitile. No matter what version you choose, they all do the same thing: Create RPG's.

In each program you can create your own world maps, choose your own characters and graphics, and add your own music.
One of the better qualitys of RPG Maker is the fact that you can edit any of the graphics given to you with the program. This option is not available on the Playstation version. If your well versed in graphic arts, there is no limit to the possibilitys.
The RPG Maker is a program you can use to make your fantasy worlds come to life. If you have an idea and enough time and patience, then even you can make your own RPG.
