Blood Is Thicker Than...

"I've been looking for you for the last five years," says the self-proclaimed long-lost sibling. "Are you saying you didn't even know you had a brother (sister)?" The character is placed in a ticklish situation. Your parents never told you they had another child. How are you going to check this person out? If he or she turns out to be lying, the entire party could be in danger. He or she seems harmless enough right now, and does look a lot like you, but you've made a few enemies over the years and this may be a trick to get back at you. Then of course he or she has to ask, "Say, I've been looking for a party to adventure with. Do you think I could come along, brother (sister)? Oh, and can I borrow some gold?" Uh huh.
