Adventure Starter: On Death's Door by Lee Struglia A family member, relative, friend, beloved pet or someone or something else of importance to a PC falls ill and will die without the cure. The cure for the illness is rare and difficult to find. The characters must travel a great distance, facing dangers along the way, locate the cure in the wilderness (or otherwise acquire it), and journey back in time to save the dying one. Another option: A large number of people are dying from some sort of plague. The characters must locate the cause of the plague and nullify it to save as many people as possible. The cause may be a poisoned water supply, disease spread by vermin, radiation poisoning from something that fell from the sky, or a foul magic cast on the land by an evil mage, among other things.
