Radio Valentine Balzan (RVB) is community radio in the village of Balzan, Malta.

Summary of the mission statement

The Balzan Community had decided to celebrate the local feast of the millennium, with a new venture in this area. A Community Radio that would broadcast for 18 days for the benefit of all but especially the sick and the housebound, not only of Balzan but also a catchment area of over 70000 listeners in Mosta, Naxxar, San Gwann, B'Kara, St. Venera, Qormi, Hamrun, L'Iklin, Mriehel, Attard, Lija and Rabat

The Radio is to be launched again on the 1st June 2002 during a "Lejla Valentina " organised by the Balzan Local Council, with a lot of fun, food and games. From there on, RVB will broadcast for no less than 48 hours a week, with cultural, informative as well as entertainment programmes, all originating from their new studios at 213, Main Str, Balzan. The main emphasis of the schedule would be the religious and folklore aspects around the Feast of the Annunciation. Perhaps in the future Christmas activities will also be broadcast.

Are you interested in giving a helping hand? Everybody is welcome, even if you do not know what a radio is all about. We meet every Wednesday at 18:30 at the New Studios, 213, Main Street, Balzan.
