WARNING: LANGUAGE!!!
HAYDEN’S DIRTY MOUTH
Kat: Yes….My Ryou said ‘ass crack.’ *shakes head* What am I going to do with my little
British muse?
Red Convoy: Oh a little Bakura torture in the next story will
be awesome….and Bakura won’t mind the chain saw for getting to Umi.
I Is Me: No, no Chibi Robbies in the next story.
Two stories after the sequel, we will see a Chibi
Robbie….much to Aten’s frustration and confusion.
Seto lover and Bakurasgirl lover:
Yup, Chibi Umis!
Valea: Aten wasn’t speaking because he was
upset at what had happened to him and he’s trying to come to grips with it.
Beysie: *hands Aten plushie* We were due for a
lemon.
Broken Time: Joey will learn not to lick his fingers clean
anymore.
Sakiyama: From this point, Aria is going to
be frustrated at not only being the only girl, but the only straight one in a
family of five gay men.
Jasmine and her Gang: *hands Ryou and Bakura plushies to all* It’s nice to see open-minded
people. Yaoi
is a good thing. Yaoi is not always about
Drazania: It’d be interesting to see what
Daniel thinks of Marik being part of his family. This will be fun. *evil grin*
Shadow of Light: Joey and Seto could have known what those
stains were, but then the humor would be lost.
I’ll have to bring Yugi in soon. I have plans for him now.
Anubiset: We were all going through lemon
withdrawal.
I Is Me: What is Seto and Ryou going to ‘fit in’? *snicker*
The Gates of Hell
Joey woke up the next morning with Seto sitting beside him
holding his hand. The brunet gave Joey a
little smile. The CEO stroked Joey’s cheek with his fingers.
“How did you sleep, baby?”
Joey sighed. “Did we just see Marik and Bakura naked last
night?”
Seto closed his eyes and wavered. “Don’t remind me.”
Jaimen ran into the room. “Morning, daddy! Hi, Daddy Joey!” The child jumped onto the bed. “Did you sleep
well?”
Jaimen threw himself at Seto with a
laugh. “DADDY!”
Seto was thrown back by the force of his son. Jaimen giggled as
he looked down at his father. “Morning….Jaimen.”
Jaimen kissed Seto’s
cheeks. “We’re going home today?”
“Hayden has an appointment with Chapman today. We have to get going after breakfast.”
Jeanie stepped into the room. “Is everything okay here?”
“Yeah, Jeanie. Why wouldn’t it be?”
“Mokuba was acting strange last night. I never seen him
that….bothered.”
Joey gave a groan. “It
was a misunderstanding, Jeanie. Don’t worry about it. Where’s Mokuba now?”
“Having breakfast in the Dining
Hall.”
Seto sighed. “I hope he’s not eating on THAT side of the
table.”
“On what side?
What?”
Seto shook his head. “Nevermind.
We’ll be down in a few minutes. Did
Donny take Hayden downstairs?”
“Yes. He did.”
“Good. Thank you, Jeanie.”
Jeanie turned and left.
Jaimen moved off of his father and between
the two men. He cuddled up beside Joey
with a smile.
“So what are we going to do when we go home, daddy?”
“I have some work to do around the office, Jaimen. Hayden’s going
to be with Chapman for a while, so he may not be in the mood to play after his
appointment. Tonight, we can sit and
read a book together. How would you like that?”
Jaimen nodded enthusiastically. “I’d love that! Thank you!”
Seto knew that since Hayden had returned home, Jaimen had been clingy.
Jaimen was just as worried about Hayden as his
fathers were.
“Go downstairs, Jaimen. Have a good breakfast.”
Jaimen shifted off of the bed and ran out
of the room.
Joey sighed. “I hope Dr. Chapman can talk some sense into
Hayden.” The blond stood up and
stretched.
“Me, too.
It’d be nice to know what he’s saying for a change,” Seto said as he put
on his red satin bathrobe.
“Tell me about it,” Joey said.
Joey put on his satin gold bathrobe and left the room with
Seto.
Downstairs, Mokuba, Jeanie, Jaimen,
and Hayden were having breakfast. Joey
had taught Hayden how to hold a spoon.
It took him an entire month to be able to do it, but he did it. Seto avoided Mokuba’s
gaze as he sat at the long Dining Hall table.
“Morning, you guys,” Joey said.
Mokuba blushed red as he ate his oatmeal. “Morning.”
“Mokuba, what you saw last night was completely out of
context,” Seto said. “Apparently, Bakura
and Marik have been sneaking in here and doing…..” Seto looked at Jaimen and Hayden eating. “Doing non-chibi-appropriate things.”
Jeanie turned to Mokuba. “That is what you saw last
night?! No wonder you were traumatized!”
“No, I didn’t see Bakura and Marik doing…’non-chibi-appropriate’ things.
I saw Bakura and Marik…in their ‘birthday suits’ with Seto and Joey.”
Jaimen’s eyes widened and a smile crossed his
face. “Birthday?!
Whose birthday is it?”
“No, Jaimen….this is a different
kind of birthday suit.”
Jaimen scratched his head. “A clown suit? I like
clowns! Are we having a birthday party?”
“No, Jaimen, it’s nobody’s
birthday.”
Jaimen pouted. “Aww…nuts! I
was hoping we’d have a clown party.”
Joey shuddered. “Those things creep
me out. Let’s not discuss clowns at the
table.”
Donny brought out Seto and Joey’s breakfast.
“Thank you, Donny. Get
yourself some breakfast and sit down.”
Donny’s jaw dropped. “Really? Sit here?
With you?
Sir?”
“Yeah, Don. Grab
something and sit down…just….don’t sit at the other end of the table. I have to
call some specialists in to cut that half of the table off and burn it.”
“Oh….thank you, sir.”
Donny grabbed some oatmeal and sat down with the family. “Karl called me. He said that Jay is doing a
lot better. I also checked my email this
morning and Maxie has requested her maternity leave
to be from February 15th to April 9th.”
“She can have it,” Seto said.
“I have to rearrange my schedule without my expert thief on the
payroll.”
“Maxie-girl is having a boy.”
Seto shook his head. “Bakura’s gonna
sink his claws deep into him, I have a feeling.
Between Bakura and Maxine, that boy will be like Houdini.
Jeanie snapped her fingers. “Oh, yeah, Mokuba, I have to make
my appointment for a few weeks. We’ll be
able to find out the sex of the babies!”
Donny swallowed his oatmeal. “Babies? Mokuba!
I never thought I had it in you!”
Seto gave a heavy sigh. “I know he did, that’s the scary
part.”
Jaimen snickered. “Jeanie said a dirty
word!”
“You keep thinking that, Jaimen,”
Seto groaned.
“Maxine’s a great mom!
“That’s true. She
brought her youngest daughter into the office a few weeks ago. It was so hard not to squish the chibi Chinese girl looking up at me with these big, huge, glassy
eyes. It was hard,” Joey said. “Jiang Li is such a
cute little chibi!”
Jeanie smiled. “I wonder what our chibis
are going to look like, Mokuba.”
Mokuba smiled. “Well,
I know they’ll have your good looks.”
“And your smile,” Jeanie said taking Mokuba’s
hand happily.
Jaimen scrunched up his nose. “Eww….gross. Are you guys gonna
kiss?”
Jeanie leaned over and kissed Mokuba on the lips.
“Ewww!!!!
Kissing!” Jaimen
cried out.
Hayden narrowed his eyes at the couple.
Joey looked at the clock on the wall. “We had better get going. Chapman will be
waiting for us at KaibaCorp.”
Seto looked at the clock on the wall. “True. We had better get ready. Donny, can you take Hayden upstairs and get
his clothes ready? When Joey and I are
done dressing, we’ll take care of dressing Hayden.”
Seto and Joey stood up and took their bowls out to the
kitchen. After dressing, Seto and Joey
dressed Hayden.
Despite their efforts to remain calm, Hayden fought
them. His sharp fingernails scratched Joey
as the blond tried to remove his shirt.
Seto replaced the shirt and Hayden quieted down. The hardest part was getting Hayden into his
jeans.
“Uhh!! OFF!” Hayden yelled at them.
‘Off,’ ‘Stop,’ and ‘No,’ along with a few choice phrases, had
returned to his vocabulary.
“
“Hayden, it’s daddy! It’s Joey! I’m
not going to hurt you.”
Hayden clenched his fists and punched Joey’s shoulder
angrily. “
Joey’s eyes filled with tears as Hayden growled at him and
spat at him again.
“I HATE YOU! LET GO OF
ME!”
Joey sniffled. “Hayden, don’t say that to us….we love you.”
“
Joey let out a sob. “I can’t do this, Seto!”
Joey ran out of the room in tears.
“Hayden, we only mean well,” Seto said putting the pants on
Hayden.
The boy was still unable to dress himself. Joey had struggled to teach Hayden how to
take care of himself, but Hayden had only recently learned how to hold a spoon
and feed himself.
One challenge at a time.
Seto buttoned Hayden’s pants.
“Hayden, we only want what’s best for you.”
Hayden narrowed his eyes and looked up at Seto’s
blue eyes with disgust and hatred.
“I HATE YOU. I WISH
YOU WERE DEAD!”
Seto felt his heart sink as he looked down at his adopted
son. The teen looked up at him with
scorn.
Seto dropped Hayden’s pajama bottoms on the bed. Seto’s blue eyes
filled with tears. He looked down at
Hayden on the bed. He remembered when
Hayden first came to KaibaCorp. The child was scared,
terrified of him and Joey. The child
preferred to stay in his corner alone.
It had only been in the past few years that Hayden could be
found sitting by Joey and reading. The
boy could be found hugging Joey and even hugging Seto for the first time when
he was nine.
Seto’s Christmas present from Hayden when
he was nine was that for the first time, Hayden had called him ‘daddy.’
Now….it was ‘I hate you’?
Seto shook his head and turned away. “I still love you, Hayden…..even if you hate
me.”
Seto walked out of the room and Donny waited outside. “Donny, see that Hayden gets to the car.”
“Sir, I heard what Hayden said. It isn’t true. He doesn’t hate you.”
Seto nodded. “Yes….he does.
I have to go check on Joey.
Please do what I told you to do, Don.”
“Yes, sir.”
Seto walked into his bedroom where Joey was packing a
suitcase slowly. The CEO walked behind
Joey and wrapped his arms around the blond from behind. He rested his head on Joey’s shoulder.
Joey stood still as Seto hugged him. “Are we bad parents?”
Seto blinked as he sniffled.
He wiped his eye on Joey’s shoulder.
“No, Joey. We did our best.” Seto
hugged Joey tightly.
Joey sighed. ‘If we
did our best, Hayden would be better by now.’
***************************
Dr. Chapman was waiting for Seto upstairs in the
Library. Dr. Chapman was reading one of Seto’s old copies of The Illiad.
Dr. Chapman looked up when he saw Seto wheel Hayden into the
Library. “Hello, Seto. Hello, Hayden. How are you doing?”
Hayden scowled at the doctor.
The teen let out a vicious growl, which made Chapman swallow hard.
“Seto, thanks for bringing him here.”
“It’s okay, Dr. Chapman. I think I should stay here for his
appointment.”
Dr. Chapman bit his lip. “Well, Seto, for privacy’s sake, I
would prefer if you stay outside. Hayden
will more likely talk to me if he doesn’t feel any pressure.”
“Hayden has tried to kill Mokuba and Joey, Dr. Chapman. It’s not a good idea that I leave you alone
with him.”
Chapman took a deep breath. “Tell you what, Seto. You can
wait outside. If I need you, I’ll call
you.”
“Are you certain?
Hayden is dangerous.”
“I’ll be fine, Seto.
Thank you.”
Seto reluctantly left Hayden alone with Chapman.
“Hello, Hayden. How
have you been doing?”
“Fuck me.”
Chapman raised an eyebrow. “What?”
“I said…’Fuck…me.’”
Chapman crossed his legs. “Hayden, I am only trying to help
you. We can talk through your problems.”
“Do you want to fuck my hot ass like my uncle?”
Chapman wrote in Hayden’s file. “Do you talk this way towards
your fathers? They love you, Hayden.”
“I hate you.”
“Why do you hate me, Hayden?
I have never done anything to hurt you, have I? I have helped you before and you opened up to
your fathers.”
Hayden narrowed his eyes. “I can see it in your eyes…..”
“What do you see in my eyes, Hayden?”
Hayden licked his lips.
“You wanna fuck me.”
Chapman shook his head. “No, Hayden. I don’t want to touch
you. That is not part of my job and you
are still a kid.”
Hayden struggled to get to his feet. He staggered over to Chapman on unsteady
legs.
“Hayden, you’re going to hurt yourself. Be careful.”
Hayden grabbed Chapman’s collar and straddled Chapman’s
waist.
“SETO!”
Hayden reached over to table beside the couch and slammed the
broken lamp against the table. Seto
burst into the room as Chapman grabbed Hayden’s arm as it was holding the
broken lamp.
Seto ran to Hayden and grabbed his arm as he tried to stab
Chapman with broken lamp.
”DIE, UNCLE CHARLIE! DIE!”
Seto pulled back on Hayden.
Hayden was pulled off of the psychologist. Hayden head-butted Seto in
the forehead. The CEO staggered
back as Hayden turned to him, brandishing the broken lamp.
“You wanna fuck me, too?!”
Seto held out his hands. “No, I don’t, Hayden. I don’t want to fuck you.”
“You wanna suck my balls, then?”
Seto shook his head. “No! I don’t! Hayden, I want the old you
back! I want the boy who called me
‘daddy’ when he was nine years old! I
want the boy who used to play with his toy cars. I want my boy back, Hayden, and I know he’s
in there.”
Hayden’s left eye twitched.
Seto took a step towards Hayden. “I know our little boy is in there. I know that little boy is afraid. I know that little boy is in pain,
Hayden. If there is anyone in this
family who knows about being whored out for other people’s pleasures, Hayden…..it’s
me.”
Hayden narrowed his eyes.
“You see, Hayden….my step-father owned this company. My step-father….touched me like Charlie
touched you. He would rent me out to his
business associates if they agreed to accept a complete takeover by KaibaCorp. My
step-father would buy up these companies and give me as a peace offering….a
gesture of good will. But I was only
given to a chosen few. Hayden, it can
get better, but you have to work with the people who love you! Don’t you understand me? At all?”
Hayden growled and sneered at Seto. “I wish you were DEAD! I HATE YOU!”
Hayden lunged at Seto, knocking him onto the floor. Chapman abandoned his tablet and
grabbed Hayden.
Seto touched the pin on the corner of his jacket. “Donny, get
up here to the library and bring some backup!
Hayden is attacking Chapman!”
Seto jumped to his feet and struggled to remove the broken
lamp from Hayden’s grasp.
“Hayden, let go of this!”
Hayden released the lamp and Seto lost his balance and fell,
hitting his spine on a wooden arm of a chair.
Seto collapsed onto the floor, reaching behind him, his eyes
closed tightly.
Hayden head-butted and elbowed Chapman and escaped from his
grasp. He went over to Seto.
“I HATE YOU!”
Hayden kicked Seto in the stomach. The CEO coughed as he held his arms in front
of his stomach.
“FUCKING DIE ALREADY!”
Hayden kicked Seto in the stomach violently. Seto didn’t cry or scream. He was always forbidden to make a sound as Gozuboro beat him.
If he did, the beating was intensified.
“I HATE YOU! I WISH
YOU WERE NEVER BORN!” Hayden screamed at the top of his lungs.
The door burst open and Joey ran into the room.
“YOU
Hayden kicked Seto in the face. The CEO was kicked
unconscious.
Joey ran over to Seto as Chapman struggled off of the floor.
Donny, Jay, and Ichiro ran into the room and grabbed Hayden.
“I HATE YOU
They picked up Hayden and Chapman gained his balance. “You
may want to put him under guard.”
Hayden was carried shrieking from the room.
“Seto?”
Chapman ran out of the room to get Seto a cold towel.
“I heard what he said, Seto…..it isn’t true,” Joey said as he
ran his fingers through Seto’s hair.
Chapman returned with a wet cloth and put it on Seto’s head.
Donny ran into the Library and examined his unconscious
boss. “Let’s put Mr. Kaiba
on the couch, Joey.”
Joey and Donny lifted Seto and put him on the couch.
“Joey,” Dr. Chapman said as he wiped his lips free of
blood. “It is my recommendation that
Hayden go to a hospital for people with mental illnesses.”
Joey looked down at Seto.
“I don’t know…..”
“Hayden is DEEPLY disturbed, Joey. You have Jaimen in
here and Mokuba and his girlfriend now, right?
You don’t want to risk their health, do you?”
“Hayden is family.”
Chapman sighed. “Hayden. Is. Dangerous, Joey. You
need to commit him.”
“Can’t we try medication?
Guards?
Let’s try that first.”
Chapman removed his prescription pad out of his pocket.
“Let’s try this. It’s for depression and mania.
It should begin working quickly.
Try that. But, Joey, I’m telling you that this may not be the best
course of action now.”
“If this doesn’t work….we’ll have no alternative.”
Chapman sighed. “I hope you know what you are doing, Joey.”
Seto’s eyes fluttered open and he looked up
at Joey. “Joseph?
Joey looked into the sad eyes of his lover.
“Do you think I’m a lowlife?”
Joey shook his head. “No, baby.”
“Do you think that I should have never been born?”
“Absolutely not!
I love you, Seto. Hayden does,
too.”
Seto looked up at Donny.
“Donny, you can go.”
Donny stood up and left.
Seto reached out to Joey, sobbing. “I don’t want anyone to see me crying, Joey.”
Joey held his lover in his arms. “It’s okay, Seto.”
Seto mumbled something under his breath between sobs.
“What was that, Seto?”
“Ryou…I want Ryou…”
***********************************
Ryou sat in the doctor’s office waiting for Aten’s appointment with Chapman to be over. He sat cross-legged in the office, reading a
magazine on parenting. His cell phone
vibrated at his hip. He flipped open the
cell phone and saw it was Seto’s phone number.
He stepped into the hallway.
“Ryou Bakura here.”
[Ryou, it’s Joey. You have to come over.]
“What’s wrong?”
[Hayden just attacked Seto and said some pretty nasty
things.]
Joey told Ryou what Hayden had said.
“Oh my!
I can’t come over now, Joey. I’m
terribly sorry. Aten is in the room with
Dr. Chapman. When he’s done, I promised
I would take him to the Shack’s Deli to get him a chicken salad sandwich.”
[Okay, Ryou. Can you
come over after you drop him at home?]
“I can. Malik and
Marik can make dinner tonight. I’m sure
considering the circumstances they won’t mind.”
[Thank you, Ryou.]
“No problem, Joey. I’m
sorry I can’t be there right now.”
[Seto will understand, Ryou. Don’t worry. See you soon.]
“Goodbye.”
Ryou closed his cell phone with a sigh. “Poor
Seto.”
Meanwhile, inside Dr. Chapman’s office, Aten sat on the couch
with his knees drawn up under his chin.
“Aten?”
Aten looked down at the floor, his mind stirring with so many
emotions it was hard to talk about them.
He wanted to talk about what Yami had done. He wanted to talk about
Charlie and his orders. He wanted to
talk about how Charlie made him hurt Hayden.
He didn’t want to do it.
Aten hated himself for it.
“Aten?
Do you wish to talk about what happened to you?”
“………..”
Chapman wrote in Aten’s file. He rested his chin on his fist.
This morning he had encountered the violent end of
abuse. Hayden attacked those who loved
and cared for him. He verbally abused
Seto Kaiba…something that few people could do and
live to tell about it.
Here was Aten. Quiet. Unresponsive.
“Aten, remember when you came to me before your
abduction? I said that you were not
responsible for anything that happened to you?
It’s true. If
something happened to you, Aten.
You are not responsible for it.”
Aten blinked and sighed.
“………..”
“Aten, do you want to talk about what happened?”
“…………….”
Chapman looked at the watch.
“Aten, your body reacted naturally to whatever happened to
you. It’s not your fault your body
reacted.”
“…………..”
“That doesn’t make you a bad person, Aten.”
“…………”
Chapman grabbed a pad and paper and placed a pencil in front
of the quiet boy. “Aten, do you wish to draw?
I know you love to draw. Can you draw for me what happened to you?”
Aten sat still. ‘I
can’t talk about what happened yet. It’s….too embarrassing….and difficult.’
The bell went off on Chapman’s desk. The psychologist sighed. “Aten, I’m sorry.
We’ve run out of time. Is there anything
you’d like to say before you go?”
“…………”
“Okay. Well, let’s go,
son.”
Aten stood up and gathered his jacket. Chapman walked Aten out to the reception
area. The boy walked up to his mother
and wrapped his arms around Ryou’s waist.
“Ryou, can I see you in the room for a moment?”
“Sure. Aten, stay here.”
Ryou followed Chapman into the room. “How is my son?”
“Your son didn’t say a word during the appointment.”
“He didn’t? That’s
odd.”
Chapman nodded. “He
was talking again before this, am I correct?”
“He was talking to his sister this morning. He talked in the car on the way here.”
“Hmm….what was he talking about?”
Ryou shrugged. “He was talking about what he planned for his
new paintings. He said he had a lot of inspiration from his dreams last night.”
“Did he mention his dreams, Ryou?”
“All he mentioned is that he wanted to put a lighthouse in
one of his pictures. That’s all.”
Chapman scratched his cheek in thought. “Has he talked at all about what happened in
the house where you found him?”
“No. Whenever we try
to talk about it, he avoids it. He clams
up. I know he’s having a hard time understanding
why it happened and why he let it to happen.”
“Okay….the last thing I want, Ryou, is to put Aten on an
anti-depressant. That boy has enough
medicine in his system without me contributing to it. Any strange behavior?”
Ryou crossed his arms. “The other day…..I found him in Aria’s room playing with her
dolls.”
“Was Aria with him?”
Ryou shook his head. “No. When Aten was young, he played with
those dolls. We noticed that Aten’s play involved only the male dolls. He hardly played with the female dolls. The one male doll was always dominant and
usually used aggression on the other male doll.
When I found him playing with Aria’s dolls, he once again stripped both
male dolls again and recreated the same scenario.”
Chapman nodded. “I think I see what is going on. You didn’t know about Aten’s
rape by your father until after you saw him playing with these dolls, right?”
“I didn’t know until just a few years ago that my father did
that to him.”
“Aten played with the dolls as a sort of ‘play therapy.’ He couldn’t discuss the rape, so, as young
victims of rape often do, he acted out the rape in the form of play. He used the dolls to make sense out of what
happened to him. Now, it seems like he’s
resorting to ‘play therapy’ again.
That’s not usually seen in this age, but Aten is not a typical
child. He’s going through some trauma,
Ryou, no doubt about it. The best thing
we can do about this is encourage Aten to speak. Aten’s reaction is
what we call a ‘silent reaction.’ He’s
not talking about it, but the best way to handle this is to let him speak when
he is able to and let him direct the conversation.”
Ryou nodded. “Okay. He did mention the other day at the
dinner table that one of the men hit Robbie and made him eat on the floor.”
“Okay. So we know we are dealing with physical assailants,
then. Keep an eye on Aten’s
behavior. If you find anything out of the ordinary for him, call me up
immediately. Anything such as aggressive
behavior or….suicide attempts should be brought to my attention immediately.”
Ryou nodded. “I will, Dr. Chapman. Thank you.”
“I want to see him again next week.”
“Absolutely.”
Ryou left and Aten ran to him. He clung to Ryou’s
waist as Ryou paid the bill for the visit.
“Okay, honey. I promised my young man a sandwich, didn’t I?”
Aten smiled.
Ryou smiled back at him. “Let’s go, Aten.”
*****************************
Ryou drove Aten to the deli and home. When he returned home, Ryou packed his own
heart medication and a set of pajamas to wear outside of Seto’s
bedroom. Bakura watched him unpack as
Ryou detailed Aten’s visit with Chapman.
Bakura sat on the bed as Ryou sifted through his pajama
drawer. “You aren’t intending on taking
any……..lubricants with you, were you?”
Ryou shook his head. “No, dear. This is Seto.
Besides, I know all about your plans tonight. Just don’t drip the hot wax on Malik’s back. You
know how sensitive he is back there.”
“How….did Marik tell you?”
Ryou snickered.
“Bakura, you can’t hide anything from me! You’ve been thinking about this since yesterday
afternoon! And…..sweet Isis, Bakura Itemri, stop thinking about it! You’re going to get me all
worked up again!”
Bakura grinned as he sent mental images of Malik tied up to
the bed, his body covered in sweat, His hips rising to the light touch of
Marik.
“Bakura, you are not helping.”
Bakura snickered. “I’m innocent.”
Ryou put his bathrobe in his suitcase. “Yeah,
right.” Ryou went into the bathroom and grabbed his strawberry
shampoo. “Dr. Chapman told me today to
keep an eye on Aten’s behavior. Joey called me and said that Hayden attacked
Seto today and Dr. Chapman.”
“Why are you going over there if Hayden is going ballistic?”
“Seto needs me, Bakura.
I can’t say no to Seto when he has been there for me so many times.”
Bakura stood up and gripped his hikari’s
arms. “You promise me to be careful?”
“I promise, my love.”
Bakura removed the Millennium Ring from his neck. He put it around Ryou’s
neck and watched it hang. Ryou looked at
the Ring, which he had considered at one time to be a chain of slavery and
bondage. Now, it was a vital connection
between he and his husband.
“If you run into trouble, day or night, you summon me. I will be there. Just…..if I am summoned between
Ryou snickered. “Okay. Just remember to save some for Aria’s
ice cream tomorrow night.”
“We will. If we run
out of hot fudge, I can always grab something else.”
Ryou shut his suitcase. “Just stay clear of the
applesauce. Aten has that for his snacks
for the day.”
Bakura scratched his head. “Applesauce? There’s something we’ve never tried.”
“Bakura, don’t use applesauce as lubricant. It doesn’t work.”
Bakura raised an eyebrow. “Did you ever try it?”
“Certainly not.”
“There’s always a first, isn’t there, Ryou?”
Ryou shook his head. “Why me?”
“I never said I would use it as a lubricant, Ryou. I wonder
what Marik would taste like covered in applesauce.”
“I don’t know, Bakura.
I’m not a fan of applesauce.”
Bakura licked his lips. “I am now.”
Ryou sighed as he stood in front of Bakura. “You are amazing,
you know that?”
Bakura put his hands on Ryou’s
hips. “And you are one….sexy, sexy man.”
The yami placed a kiss on Ryou’s
stomach.
“Awww, ‘
Bakura laughed as he looked up at Ryou. “Don’t let Marik hear
you say that. He could get jealous.”
Ryou leaned down.
“Nobody has my heart and my soul like you, ‘
Ryou kissed his yami on the lips. “Always remember that, baby. Nobody can take your place in my heart.”
Bakura nuzzled his cheek against Ryou’s
stomach. “I love you, Ryou.”
“I love you, too, Bakura,” Ryou said, kissing his forehead.
Ryou grabbed his suitcase and Bakura followed him into Aten’s room. Ryou
kissed Aten’s forehead as the little painter was busy
working on a large canvas. He left Aten’s room and kissed the other people in the house.
Bakura stood by the door and watched Ryou leave with a
sigh. “Goodbye, Ryou.”
***********************
Ryou arrived at KaibaCorp and
walked up the high steps. He was
surprised to find Mokuba waiting downstairs for Ryou. The raven-haired man stood there.
“Ryou, thank goodness you are here!”
“Hello, Mokuba. Congradulations on your triplets!”
Mokuba grabbed Ryou’s arms. “You
have to do something about Seto, Ryou!”
“Joey told me about Hayden’s assault this morning. He told me what Hayden said.”
Mokuba nodded. “Hayden’s still screeching up a storm
upstairs. Seto’s
room is right next to Hayden’s room.”
“Oh, dear!
Let’s go, Mokuba!”
The security guard allowed Ryou and Mokuba through to the
elevator. Ryou shifted uncomfortably and
impatiently as the elevator rose higher.
“I haven’t seen Seto like this in a long time, Ryou. The last
time I saw Seto this upset is after Yugi defeated him
in the
Ryou sighed. “Well, I heard that Seto was quite devastated
after his defeat.”
“I hope you can do something, Ryou. He’s not responding to anyone right now. He was crying for you. I heard it.”
“Oh, my…..it’s not like Seto to cry.”
Mokuba crossed his arms and leaned against the side of the
elevator. “I don’t know what to do with him, Ryou.”
Ryou heard Hayden’s shrill screams come from behind Hayden’s
door as the elevator doors opened.
Jeanie was sitting in Mokuba’s room holding Jaimen against her. The pregnant girl cuddled Jaimen on her lap. Her body shivered as her fear at
Hayden’s shrieking became worse.
Mokuba ran into his room and held his girlfriend. “Jeanie, it’s okay,
sweetheart,” Mokuba said comfortingly.
“He hasn’t stopped screaming,” Jeanie sobbed.
Mokuba looked up at Ryou in the doorway. “Ryou, I have to get
Jeanie away from here. We’ll probably stay with Jeanie’s mom tonight. This is not a good place for Jeanie or Jaimen tonight.”
Jaimen looked up Mokuba with his father’s
large blue eyes. “What if daddy needs me?”
“I’ll be here for him, Jaimen,”
Ryou said. “Joey and I will take good care of your daddy. You go with your
Uncle Mokuba.”
Jaimen sniffled. “Okay. I’ll go pack my
things.” Jaimen scurried out of the room.
Jeanie turned and wrapped her arms around Mokuba’s
shoulders.
“Ryou, my brother is in the Library with Joey.”
Ryou nodded. “Thank you. Have a good night, you guys.”
Ryou walked down the hall and saw Monique,
one of Seto’s cleaning staff.
“Hello, Monique. You look smashing today.”
“Why, thank you,” the woman said in a broken accent. “I’ll
tell you one thing that is smashing around here…..my headache from Master
Hayden’s cries.”
“It is rather loud, isn’t it?!” Ryou screamed over the
intensifying yelling.
The woman rubbed her forehead. “You can say that again! Oh well! Back to work!”
Ryou walked to the Library at the other end of the hall. He
knocked on the door.
“Come in!” Joey called.
Ryou opened the door and saw Seto shivering as he held onto
Joey. The white-haired man dropped his
suitcase and ran for Seto.
Ryou kneeled in front of Seto, the CEO trembling in Joey’s
arms. “Seto? I’m here.”
Seto opened one terrified eye. Tears stained the CEO’s
cheeks. “he…He screams like Gozuboro….and….he
won’t stop…why won’t he stop?”
Ryou opened his arms and Seto flew into them like a magnet.
“Don’t let go of me, Ryou, please!” Seto begged, trembling
fiercely.
Joey rubbed Seto’s back. “He’s been
like this since I called you, Ryou.”
“Seto, I am so sorry!
Aten had his doctor’s appointment this morning.”
“Aten? Where’s Aten? Aten knows what this
fear is like.”
Ryou hugged Seto tighter. “I know he does,” he whispered.
“Gozuboro would scream at me…he’d
whip and beat me…when I didn’t please him. He’d yell. He’d screech. And….and…Hayden wishes me
dead.” Seto’s
heart wrenching sobs continued. “Ryou, my own son…wishes….I was dead.”
Ryou caressed Seto’s hair. “Now, now, Seto. Shhh…” Ryou kissed Seto on the cheek.
“Joey, what do we do with him? He’s a nervous wreck!”
Joey shrugged. “I don’t know. It’s not like Seto to break
down.” Joey’s eyes widened and his jaw dropped. “Don’t tell me Seto Kaiba is having a nervous breakdown!”
Ryou felt Seto begin to weaken. “Joey, we have to get Seto to bed.”
“He can’t sleep in his room. Hayden’s screaming like a banchee.”
“Jaimen is going to stay at
Jeanie’s mom’s house with Mokuba and Jeanie.
We can help Seto to Jaimen’s bed.”
Joey nodded. “Good idea. Seto, we’re going to put you into
bed.”
Ryou and Joey stood on both sides of Seto and pulled him to
his feet. They both supported Seto out of the room.
Jaimen ran out of the bedroom and up to his
father. “Bye, daddy, I’ll call you
tonight and tell you all about the cool stuff Mokuba and I are
up to!”
Seto looked down at the boy. Seto’s
eyes filled with tears at the sight of his son, the result of his rape by an
older woman.
Jaimen hugged him and Seto’s
eyes went vacant.
“Love you, daddy. Goodbye!” Jaimen
smiled as he ran down the hallway.
Ryou and Joey carried Seto into Jaimen’s
room. The boys placed Seto in the bed.
The CEO curled up into a fetal position and covered his ears with his
hands.
Ryou looked around the room at the decoration. Jaimen was building
model planes and had a pile of toy planes arranged in the corner. On Jaimen’s
bookshelves were books on Aviation and the mechanics of planes.
Ryou sat beside Seto. “Joey, whatever are we going to do about
Hayden and Seto?”
Joey removed a pill bottle from his pocket. “Dr. Chapman gave me these before he
left. They are sedatives. They need to be ground up and put in his
food. This will make him drowsy and calm
him down.”
“Why hasn’t he taken these yet? He needs them now.”
Joey shook his head. “Nobody is opening the door to Hayden’s
room until he quiets down.”
“Joey, go take them to your cook and tell her to grind them
up and put them in Hayden’s dinner when he quiets down. I’ll stay here with Seto.”
Joey bolted from the room at top speed. Ryou sighed. “Poor Seto,” the white-haired
man ran his fingers through Seto’s hair.
“He won’t stop yelling…..why won’t Gozuboro
stop yelling? I didn’t do anything
wrong…”
“He’s not here, Seto. It’s
just you and I.”
Seto looked up at Ryou and shifted closer to him. The CEO put his head on Ryou’s
lap.
“Mother,” Seto whimpered as he put his head on Ryou’s lap.
Ryou just allowed Seto to rest his head on his lap. Seto was old enough to remember his parents
when they were killed in that car crash when he was a child. Seto must have done this to his mother when
he was young.
Ryou was always a caring, nurturing person to Seto and it was
no surprise that Seto had
equated Ryou to a mother figure.
“I’ll stay here as long as you need me to, Seto.”
Seto draped his arm over Ryou’s
legs and clung to him, his fingers turning color from the tight grip.
Joey returned soon after.
“I told the cook. She’ll put the
sedative in Hayden’s food when he stops carrying on.” Joey looked down at Seto,
still curled up in his fetal position.
“How is he doing?”
“Joey, he called me….mother.”
The blond groaned. “Oh, shit!
That’s it! I have to talk some sense into Hayden!”
“Joey, you can’t go in there with Hayden screaming like
that! You told me that Hayden
managed….somehow….to beat Seto unconscious!”
Joey crossed his arms. “Seto was taught never to fight back,
Ryou. At least….at least I tried to
fight my father off a few times. I
failed, but I was able to try. I can’t
see Seto like this! I’ll be back, Ryou.”
“Joey! What if he
hurts you? Joey! JOEY!”
Joey ran out of the room and down the hall to Hayden’s room.
“HAYDEN KAIBA! You stop this right now!”
“Let me out of here, you faggot!” the shriek came from
behind the door.
Joey narrowed his eyes. “Hayden, this is your father! You stop this behavior this instant! You’ve got Seto all upset!”
“I’M GOING TO KILL YOU!” Hayden snarled.
“Hayden! Stop this!”
“GO FUCK YOURSELF!” Hayden growled.
Joey felt his body tremble. Standing in front of that door with Hayden
wailing and screaming was like standing before the Gates of Hell. Behind that door was a demon…..
A demon that Joey and Seto once
called their son.
“Hayden, I know the real you is in
there somewhere! I know you are in pain!
I know you are hurting! Seto and I just
want to help you! What can we do to make
you see that?”
“THE HAYDEN YOU KNEW IS DEAD!”
Joey clenched his fists. “I know he isn’t, Hayden! I know the little boy I used to watch the
Indy 500 with is still in there! I know
the little boy I used to chase around is still in there! I know what that little boy went through,
Hayden! This little boy went thought it,
too. But I let people help me, even
though I fought their efforts to help me!
Seto will help you! He helped
me! I helped him!”
“
Joey’s shoulders sagged. He let out a defeated sigh and
slowly walked back to Jaimen’s room.
Ryou looked up from the bed. “It’s going to be a long night,
isn’t it?”
Joey nodded and walked towards the bed. He laid beside Seto
and spooned up behind his lover.
****************************
Hayden’s screams finally died down around dinnertime. The cook had crushed up the sedative and
sprinkled it in with Hayden’s meal. Donny
had taken the food into Hayden seeing as the ex-military sniper was the only
one available who could take a swing from the teen and defend himself.
With a short time, Hayden’s room had become quiet, the teen
having fallen asleep from the sedative.
When Hayden’s screams had silenced, Seto had fallen asleep
cuddled up to Ryou. Ryou had laid beside Seto and had held the CEO all day.
Joey sat on Seto’s other side and
leaned against the pillows. “How is Aten doing?
Don’t tell me he’s going through this, too.”
“No, he’s just become quiet sometimes. I found him laughing and playing on the
monkey bars with Robbie the other day and five minutes later I had Robbie
running into me telling me that Aten had curled up on the grass and was
crying. He doesn’t talk about what
happened.”
Joey growled. “The bastards that did this to these kids
should fry in hell.”
Ryou ran his fingers through Seto’s
hair, making the CEO moan in his sleep.
“Aten hasn’t talked at all about what happened to him. I don’t know what more I can do for him other
than just be there for him.”
Joey sighed and grabbed a nail file from his side drawer. He
filed his nails. “Seto and I are supposed to be married in a week.” The blond sighed. “We had to postpone it
again.”
“Why?”
“We want Hayden to be able to be there. Hayden is our ring-bearer.”
Ryou held Seto close to him.
“What about Jaimen?”
“We want Hayden to do it, Ryou. That was promised to Hayden. Besides, he deserves to be at our wedding.”
Seto’s eyes burst wide open. “MOKUBA!”
“Seto, he’s okay,” Ryou said quietly. “He’s over at Jeanie’s mom’s. They’re staying there tonight with Jaimen.”
Seto breathed a sigh of relief. “I was afraid my stepfather got to him.”
“He’s not here, love,” Joey said as he rubbed Seto’s hair. “Are
you hungry? You really should eat.”
Seto looked up at Ryou. “Did you eat,
angel?”
Ryou shook his head. “I can go a long time without food,
Seto. You learn to go
without….especially if someone you love needs you.”
“I want you to eat, Ryou.”
Ryou smiled. “Yes, dear.” The man let out a giggle.
Seto grabbed Ryou and held him tightly against him. “You are
so damn cute! Come here, you hot British
boy!”
Seto wrapped his arms around Ryou and rolled over on top of
him. Seto looked down at the white hair spread around the pillow. “You have no idea how beautiful you are,
Ryou.”
Ryou blushed. “Oh, please….I’m look
the same as I was in high school!”
“You’ve changed.”
Ryou snickered. “Yeah, I’ve changed alright. For almost two
months I had breasts and I pushed two kids out of me. I was so glad to get back to myself! I swear I still have some of the weight left
over from the pregnancy. I don’t know why that hasn’t disappeared yet.”
Seto chuckled. “Hey, I love you just the way you are, Ryou.”
Joey watched as Seto had settled himself comfortably on top
of Ryou. He watched Seto kissing Ryou
deeply, the CEO’s fingers burying themselves in Ryou’s
long white hair.
Joey watched Ryou’s hands run along
the sides of Seto’s body.
Joey stood up from the bed. “I had better go get our
dinners.”
Seto stopped kissing Ryou. “Joey?” Seto crawled off of Ryou and walked around
the bed to Joey. “Joey…..I was wondering….would you stay with Ryou and I
tonight?”
Joey’s jaw dropped.
“Are….are you sure, Seto?”
Seto nodded. “I need the two most important people in my life
tonight, Joey.” Seto took Joey’s hand.
“And you are the most important person, Joey, in my life. We’re going to be married. I want you to stay with us tonight. Please.”
The blond hugged his lover. “I can’t say no to you,
Seto. I’ll stay with you and Ryou if you
want me, too.”
“I’d like that very much.”
Joey kissed Seto’s cheek. “I would, too. I’ll be back.
I’ll make sure to knock before I enter.”
Joey walked out of the room as Seto’s
eyes watched Joey intently as he left.
“Joey still has a cute ass after all these years,” Seto
commented.
Ryou giggled. “I never looked at Joey like that.”
Seto crawled back towards Ryou. He pulled Ryou’s
shirt up a little, enough to place tiny kisses on Ryou’s
stomach.
The white-haired man smiled and caressed the brunet’s hair as
he kissed him. Seto rested his head on Ryou’s stomach.
“Thank you for coming over here, Ryou,” Seto whispered.
“I heard you were in trouble, Seto. I couldn’t ignore the fact that you needed
me. It’s just Aten needed his doctor.”
Seto nodded. “How is he?”
“He has his moments.
He’s been quiet lately. He
doesn’t say much to anyone. He’s busy
working on his paintings. Dr. Chapman
told us not to interrupt him while he’s painting. Since it’s therapeutic, he doesn’t recommend
that we become involved in his painting times.”
“At least he hasn’t flipped.”
Ryou ran his fingers through Seto’s
hair. He was concerned for Aten’s reclusive behavior,
but Ryou had to remember this is what happened after Ryou was taken to the
Shadow Realm and after Aten and Ryou returned home from the hospital after
their abduction by Steven.
Joey returned with the dinners. Ryou and Seto ate together on the bed. Joey had eaten his while Seto was
asleep.
When they were done eating, Ryou had returned to Seto’s bathroom and had showered. Ryou preferred to be clean when he cuddled
with Seto.
Joey kept his boxers on as he slid into bed.
“Joey, if you want to leave them on, you can. You don’t have
to.”
“Well, what about Ryou?”
Seto shrugged. “What about him? We’ve done this since from the very
beginning.”
Joey watched as Seto stripped naked. The CEO stretched and slipped beside Joey.
The CEO rested his head against Joey’s chest.
Ryou left the bathroom in his robe. Seto watched as Ryou stepped to his side of
the bed. The bathrobe gently slid caressed Ryou’s
body as it fell off. Seto grinned as he felt his friend spoon behind his back.
“Nothing can beat this,” Seto smiled with a moan.
Ryou rubbed his cheek against the back of Seto’s
neck. He gave a happy sigh.
Joey turned on his side, facing Seto. Joey pressed up against Seto and started
kissing him deeply. The blond’s hands drifted over Seto’s
chest.
Ryou pressed up close behind Seto and started kissing the
back of Seto’s neck.
The CEO moaned as he was caught between the two other
men.
Ryou’s hand gently rubbed Seto’s hip.
Seto broke the kiss with Joey and buried his face in Joey’s
chest. “I don’t know what I would do
without you both.”
“Same here, Seto,” Ryou said, rubbing his cheek against
Seto. “You saved my life, Seto. For that, you mean so much to me.”
Joey nodded in agreement. “Yeah, Seto, if it weren’t for you,
I’d be a bum in the streets. I’d probably would have drunk myself to death by now.”
Seto sniffled. “Don’t
ever leave me, Joey….please.”
“I’d never leave you, Blue Eyes. I love you too much to leave you. We’ll see each other through this.”
“Joey’s right, Seto.
We’ll get through this together.”
Seto cringed. “You both are beginning to sound like Anzu.”
Joey and Ryou gave identical groans. “Well, that ruined the
mood.”
Seto snickered. “Sorry.”
“No you’re not,” Ryou teased.
“GLOMP SETO!” Joey called and he jumped on top of his lover.
He started tickling Seto.
Seto started to laugh.
“Ryou! Help!” Seto
called as tears came down his eyes.
Ryou joined in, tickling Seto’s
armpit. “This is what you get for mentioning Anzu!”
The CEO was pinned helplessly under Joey, laughing loudly as
the two men tickled him.
When they were done, Joey and Ryou had to catch their breath
from laughing.
“That was fun,” Joey said smiling. “We’ll have to do that again sometime.”
Seto grabbed Joey’s
face and brought him down into a kiss.
Ryou snuggled up to the CEO.
“Thanks to both of you,” Seto said.
Joey shifted beside Seto again. “You mean a lot to us, Seto. We wouldn’t want to see you out of our
lives.”
“He’s right,” Ryou agreed.
Seto settled in between the two men with a contented
sigh. “I love you both.”
“So do we, Seto,” Ryou said with a
yawn.
“Close your eyes, Seto, and get some sleep. Today has been a
rough day for you.”
Joey watched as his lover’s eyes closed. The blond smiled and kissed his forehead.
“I love you, Seto Kaiba,” Joey whispered
before falling into his own deep slumber.
