QUOTES OF THE SCIENTIFIC GENIUS
Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.
Knowledge of what is does not open the door directly to what should be.
The development of science and of the creative activities of the spirit in general requires still another kind of freedom, which may be characterised as an inward freedom.
To know that what is impenetrable for us really exists and manifests itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty, whose gross forms alone are intelligible to our poor faculties - this knowledge, this feeling...that is the core of the true religious sentiment.
The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all the true art and science.
The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvellous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity.
Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited - imagination encircles the world.
