SPIRITLAND
They say there's a beautiful Spiritland
somewhere up above,
with grass so green and skies so blue,
it's almost too good to be true.

And in that beautiful Spiritland
you'll find the one you love
and everybody who has gone before,
friends and kinfolk by the score.

They'll all be there to meet you,
with loving arms they'll greet you,
they'll hug and will kiss you
and they'll take you by the hand.
Well, I hope there's room for me there,
'cause I sure would like to be there
in that beautiful Spiritland.

And in that beautiful Spiritland,
they tell me that it's true,
skies are never dark or grey,
it's one long perfect summer day.

And folks there in that Summerland
are just like me and you,
they live in perfect harmony,
just one big happy family.

And they'll all be there to meet you,
there'll be happy smiles to greet you.
They'll take you, make you welcome
and they'll take you by the hand.
Well, I hope they know my name there,
'cause I'd like to stake my claim there
in that beautiful Spiritland.

The beauties of that Spiritland
are wonderous to behold,
and you know that they will be
there for all eternity.

And because it's Spiritland
no one grows old,
free from worry, stress and strain
everyone is young again.

And they'll all be there to meet you,
with happy hearts they'll greet you,
and show you that they love you
in the way you understand.
Well, I hope I'll find my way there,
'cause surely'd like to stay there
in that beautiful Spiritland.

Yes, I'd really like to go there,
'cause  there's lots of folk I know there,
but I realise that's something that
I never could demand:
For there's much more to achieve here
'til it's time for me to leave here
for that beautiful Spiritland.
