Kyle Schultz, a former announcer and public relations director for the Augusta Lynx has died at 41. He was killed in a car accident in Wisconsin.

Schultz was in his third season as the voice of the American Hockey League's Milwaukee Admirals. He was the second voice in Lynx history from 2001-2003 and his career spanned parts of 13 seasons.

"The Lynx organization is deeply saddened by Kyle's passing," Lynx general manager Rob Mueller said. "During his time with the Lynx, Schultzie put an indelible stamp on the Augusta hockey community."
