To Be Forgotten

Part 1
Kaoru narrowed his eyes in anger while he watched as the girl actually managed to get herself even closer to Toshiya. How could he do that?! Sure that had had a fight before they went out with the rest of Dir en grey that night. Sure Kaoru had yelled at Toshiya and told him to 'see if he cared if Toshiya flirted with half of Japan's population.' But did that mean that Toshiya actually had to have some girl sitting practically right on top of him while he sat across from Kaoru?
Hours later (or so it seemed to Kaoru) the rest of the guys were ready to leave. Shinya and Die were first out the door, with a sleepy and slightly drunk Kyo following behind, expecting a ride. Toshiya was a bit slower, as the girl he had been flirting with the whole night now seemed like she wasn't going to let go. Kaoru decided that he had better wait for him.
When Toshiya finally managed to get the girl to go away he got up and left the bar without so much as even looking at Kaoru. That was the last straw. Filled with fury he quickly made his way out of the bar. Toshiya was already across the street walking along up on the cement wall that was built to keep little kids from falling down the steep edge to the riverbank below. (Alison: You get what I am describing??)
"Toshiya!" Kaoru shouted. Toshiya ignored him.
Kaoru had to walk quickly to catch up with the other man. Kaoru grabbed Toshiya's wrist, startling him.
"Kaoru! What?"
"What the hell did you think you were doing back in the bar? That girl was all over you!"
"What do you care?" Toshiya shouted and ripped his arm out of Kaoru's grip.
"Well lets see here, you are *my* boyfriend, so of course I am going to care when some girl you don't even know has herself plastered to you! You aren't supposed to do that Toshiya!" Kaoru shouted back.
"You are so possessive Kaoru. Let me have a little fun once and awhile."
"That wasn't 'having a little fun' Toshiya. God, you are such a slut!"
Toshiya's eyes filled with disbelief and pain when he heard the words. He turned away from Kaoru before the other man could see his eyes start to water. "Fine then Kaoru, if that is how you feel. Its over between us."
Kaoru froze. This wasn't what he had expected. Not at all. Kaoru reached out and grabbed Toshiya's wrist again, jerking the bassist in his direction.
As if in slow motion, Toshiya felt himself lose his balance and start to fall backwards. His eyes widened in shock and he reached out in vain to grab a hold of something, but was to slow. Kaoru watched in horror as his love fell off the ledge and hit the ground below with a sickening thud.
Kaoru couldn't even remember what had started the fight that day.
