Dakki is the main villainess from Houshin Engi/Soul Hunter. The story is based on an old Chinese legend... if you ever get to read it, her name is Daji in Chinese. She's an immortal with evil pulsions. She's been marrying the Chinese Emperor for many years, charming him and controlling the country. Right now she's with Chuu-Ou (King Zhou), 30th emperor of the Yin Dynasty. She's always having expensive parties and all of the poeple of the country are starving poor.

She's the third strongest on the Houshin list. She's both vulnerable and invincible. She has a great charm spell, everyone in the castle (or almost) obeys her because of the perfume on her shawl. All of her clothes are baobei (weapons that amplify an immortal's powers, but they are difficult to wear... wearing many is a sign of her great power). But even with all that power, she always sends someone to do her dirty work. Which isn't hard, since she controls almost everyone.

She is very cunning. Her other greatest powers are her beauty and charms. Her current body is a girl from the Su clan under possession. She's been chaging name and shapes from ages now, you see. Her original form is said to be a fox, who bathed in the moonlight for 1000 years, got a human form. Immortals that come from beasts are said to be the cruellest, and she is. She's always one step ahead of her ennemies, acting cute to manipulate everyone. She plans everything she says and does perfectly. She also enjoys creating and building various torture devices.

One is the Chaipen, a snake and crocodile pit. She throws poeple and they get eaten (etc.). Some have seen her feed on human corpses in the pit at night. Another one is pillars that take in the sun's energy. You just have to push a traitor on them and he burns instantly. The last one we've seen is the "pond of sake and forest of meat", a trick to control the four kings of the surrounding countries. In a pond of sake, a boat. The pond is surrounded with a forest filled with ferocious creatures... and fleeing humans. So you see, she's very inventive!

Her two best henchmen are probably her sisters. She has two: Ôkijin, who uses poison and Kibi, who can take any shape. Unfortunately, Ôkijin was turned back to her original lute form by Taikôbô, but they got her back. Will Dakki's evil reign ever stop, or will her ennemy outsmart her somehow? Even I don't know...
