Inu-Yasha is the story about a half yokai ( half demon) named Inu-Yasha and what would seem like a normal Japanese girl named Kagome. One day, Kagome falls into a well in her family's shrine is transported back to feudal Japan. There she meets Inu-Yasha and he basicly hates her at first. She soon finds out she is the reincarnated form of an ancient priestess named Kikyou.(I hope I spelled her name right)
After a little bit of fighting, Inu-Yasha begins to accept Kagome. He is forced to gather the shards of the Shikon jewl with her. The Shikon Jewl can bring great power to demons, and sometimes men. Inu-Yasha once desired the Shikon Jewl so that he may become a fully fledged Yokai. Now Kagome and Inu-Yasha search the land for the shards of the Shikon Jewl. And so the story continues....
