About Me |
My name is actually Stephanie, although many people call me Sakura. I'm 16, and I live in Hobart, Indiana. I play the flute in the Hobart High School Band, called the Pride of Hobart. I've been playing the flute since I was in sixth grade, and right now I'm a Junior, going to be graduating in 2005. ^_^ I love playing my flue and I've made some wonderful friends being in the band. We've done so much stuff together as a band and we're practically family since we go on trips together, such as Michigan, which I'll explain below. As well as being in band, I love to play my guitar, of which I got for Christmas last year. I also studied a little drumming, but that didn't exactly go as far as I'd planned on. I love to talk on the phone and on Aim, which by the way, my Aim address is TK2002408. I enjoy bikeriding with my friends, as well. Some of my favorite alternative bands are Thursday, Something Corporate, Lostprophets, System of a Down, Linkin Park and Trust Co. |
Mackinaw Island/City! May 22-24 2003 |
Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island were great. As a band, the Pride of Hobart went up to Michigan to participate in the Memorial day parade in May. We had a blast, and we all took so many pictures! The pictures on this page are from that trip, and as you can see, everyone was having fun. If you'd like to see more of the pictures I took, go here. ^_^ It was a wonderful 3 day trip with a lot to do. We did things which included some things on and off the island. On the Island: Bikeriding, Tourist shops (hehehe! YEA!), a buggy ride (of which we tried to fit the whole band at once....o.o), and taking many many pictures! Off the Island: A lazer show, more tourist traps..., a boat ride (of course, to the island), the wonderful pool and hot tub at the hotel ^_^, a look at some historical spots, and a great theater production (about music...hehehe) that we got to watch. |
From left to right: Jackie, Karen, Marilynn, and Rachel My wonderful flute friends! ^_^ |
EEp! This is our whole band, plus Ms. Trutwin (all the way on the left, standing), and a group of our Band Parents. ^_^ Huge group, aren't we? |
