October 26th is the big day. That's when I'm supposed to transfer everything to Yahoo Webhosting and pick a domain name. This url will stay here until I do. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with www.poorfolkbows.com since nothing better has presented itself. After I transfer, I think that for a while, if you come to this web page, it will automatically transfer you to the new one. I could be wrong about that, though!
When I switch over to the new web page, I'm supposed to pick my own domain name. I was thinking maybe www.salampsio.com, but then I got to thinking I need a shorter and pithier name for this web page, and maybe I should just call it "Poor Folk Bows," or something like that. Then the URL would be www.poorfolkbows.com. What do you think about that?
I posted a bunch of pictures of my bows on Photobucket in case anybody wants to have a look-see.
Just soes you know, Yahoo is getting rid of geocities. They say they will tell me later in the summer how to transition to Yahoo web hosting. I'm pretty sure the address to this web page is going to change or else I'm just going to have to move it to a different site. I'll make an announcement as soon as I can with a link to the new location.
I'm making a violin!
I posted a video on YouTube showing How I make arrows. I plan to do a more detailed written build-along for this web page.
Steve Moore, from the leatherwall is currently doing the best English longbow build-along I've ever seen right here out of eastern red cedar, and he has me really wanting to do one myself. I've been looking for some cedar. Check out this one, too. It's beautiful.

Here's my email address: banana underscore nut underscore bread at hotmail dot com.
I'll try to answer every email I get, but I can't promise anything because I don't know what to expect.
I read an article this morning that said by 2012, the incandescent light bulb will be completely off the market. That will have serious ramifications for my hot box.
I usually cut my arrow rests 1.25 inches above center. Sometimes I cut them as high a 1.5 inches above center.

Fiberglass laminated bow build along This is probably not the best build-along I've done, but it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
