Object: To encourage an exchange of ideas in the field; to enrich the love and understanding of music; to raise the standards of teaching music by recognizing the training, experience and challenge necessary for professional growth.
SCMTA is for all independent music teachers. Our goals are to promote high standards of music teaching, performance, professionalism in the music community and understanding in America. When you join SCMTA you become a member of ISMTA and MTNA.
