The Deepest Bear in the Red Sea Again - Christmas 2003
Lots of love, the deepest bear in the world
Once again, I persuaded my PA to take me to the Red Sea for Christmas. We went for a whole two weeks and dived nearly every day. At Soma Bay, Sue and Andy from No Tanx/Emperor Divers have set up a freedive school - and they asked me along as guest coach for the fortnight. Sue and Mark, Sam's new buddy, qualified as PADI Advanced Freedivers and my static coaching got them both up to 4 minutes. I did some training for my 2004 4 hour attempt - but mainly I ate lots and partied - it was Christmas after all. Happy New Year. DB xx
