Sandy's fan Ronnie Mapps remembers Sandy's! Ronnie recalls a Sandy's that was almost in his hometown;

Like to thank you for the cool website on Sandy's. I love remembering the cool stuff from the 60's and 70's. Just wanted to point out that you list a Sandy's in Marion Ilinois. I remember when they were building it , it was supposed to be a Sandy's, but sadly, by the time it opened it was Hardee's. It never had any Sandy's logo and was always a Hardees. I thought this was a sad thing because I have never cared for Hardee's at all.(It's now a used car lot,no building) Then to top it all off , they bought out Burger Chef, where my first wife worked while we were dating in the late seventies. (Burger Chef was much better than Hardee's also) Anyway, thanks for the memories of a great place to eat !!!
