Students from area colleges and junior colleges who are interested in pursuing studies at a Mexican university are invited to apply for admission to a Sister Cities student exchange program.
The program would allow Springfield area students to take courses at universities in or near our Sister City of San Pedro de las Colonias, Mexico.
Students in any curriculum are eligible for the program, credits earned in Mexico may be transferable to US universities.
Sister Cities will arrange for free home stays with Mexican host families during the program. Students taking part would be expected to furnish their own transportation from San Pedro, and should have reasonable fluency in Spanish.
Some financial assistance may be available through the Sister Cities Association of Springfield.
For more information, contact Mick Bernasek at (217) 546-6459 or mbernasek@juno.com |
