Michelle Grady
Memorial Scholarship
Ramona Santana Riders
Michelle Grady was a young rider in the Ramona area who passed away in 2000.   The Ramona Santana Riders created a horsemanship pattern class in the            Open Show in 2001 for riders 17 & under in Michelle's name, and also established a scholarship fund to promote continuing education for local riders.

The express purpose of Ramona Santana Riders is to promote good horsemanship, and an appreciation for all equines.  For these reasons, this Scholarship is being offered to a graduating Senior from High School who is a resident of Ramona.          To be considered for the Michelle Grady Memorial Scholarship, the Senior must have had some involvement with horses, must have plans for some continuing education, and must have achieved at least a 2.5 grade point average. The grade point average and the type of continuing education planned will have no bearing on choosing the recipient.

Applications for the 2009 scholarship are available on the homepage.   Applications must be received by Ramona Santana Riders by June 30, 2009
