I am an Italian woman, married, mother of 4 (wonderful) sons.
I am an Art historian working for the Cultural Heritage Found of the Italian Goverment.
I ADORE my job: it's very demanding but also very rewarding.....from the intellectual point of view [don't ask about money, please...:(( ].
At present I am involved in the conservation field (I direct many restores, working on masterpieces as Giotto, Caravaggio, Raffaello, Gentile da Fabriano and so on...). Wonderful, uh?
It happens I travel a lot for job pourposes, mainly in France, England, Germany and USA.
I have not much free time for hobbies....I like movies (women' movies, as my sons say, kidding of me)
Reading (detective stories: Ann Perry, Ed McBain; fantasy: ONLY Tolkien!
good novels: Anna Karenina, Madame Bovary, Jane Austen, Edith Warthon, Virginia Woolfs, Antonia Byatt, Ian Mc Ewan. Poetry, mainly Italian poets, it happens I can appreciate them better!...)

My family:
my huband is the principal in a high school and a very wise man, involved in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.
We have 4 sons: Giovanni (21), Gabriele (19), Tommaso (10), Davide (7)
I have so many friends I can categorize them:
- friends at my work place (many of the outstanding conservators or curators in the world! wow! I'm so honoured to be one of their friend!)
- friends in the Charismatic Renewal (it's so wonderful and comfortable to have someone sharing your spiritual vision)
- all life long friends (not so many, bur few are better than none!)
- friends over the internet (yes, I realized it can be true friendship....)
