MY COLT TURBO

This is my 1986 Colt 1600 Turbo purchased in Aug. 2000. It had covered 51,000 Miles, had full dealer service history Inc. Oil and filter change every 3months and had been garaged from new. What a find. It cost me £50.00. 
I don't actually like white cars, so decided to paint a few trim pieces red to break it all up a bit. These Inc:

Side Skirts, Front side splitters and upper grille, wing mirrors and door handles. It looks a bit brash..............but then again so were the 1980's.
All panels except inner roof have been greased to preserve the rust free body. There is slight surface rust in the engine bay area which I shall sort come summer. 
Rear end red bits also inc: Rear boot spoiler and panel between light clusters. I also added a high level brake light which fits neatly below roof spoiler and can only be really seen when I'm braking.
I would like to paint the lower rear bumper beneath the black bumper protector this summer..................To date the car has cost me approx. £1,500, but worth every penny.  
The Interior was as new but very GREY (YUK!), so I colour coded it red, black and silver, Inc: Console, Fascia, door trim tops and lock surrounds and Air vents.
Other modifications Inc: "Momo" Steering wheel Inc. Mitsubishi Logo on horn boss, Red leather & Chrome Gear Knob, Red carpeted mats, Red & White Mits. Seat belt pads (Bought in Australia), Alloy Look pedal Covers and central console from 86 to 88 Colt.

This allowed me to fit a CD Player & tape player, one above the other.
Other Modifications done include drilling holes in air filter box (great Noise when changing gear), Alloy Wheels from '87 to '89 Mits. Sapporo (Still to be repainted, '88 to '93 Chrome Colt Emblem on grille, various Mitsubishi emblems/badges on mirrors, wheels and side skirts. Also took TURBO badge off rear boot lid. No one seems to know they did a TURBO version of this car which can leave other drivers stunned as car darts off ahead of them!!! 0-60 mph takes around 8.2 Seconds, 0-100 mph in 26.0 Seconds and max. speed is 121mph. Engine is 1600 with 123 bhp.
