Aslan the Mighty Lion Aslan came to our house from a yard sale for the miniscule sum of ten cents. It seems someone didn't realize his princely worth. He arrived in a plastic bag with McDonald's written on it. This was because he first saw the light of day in a Happy Meals box. He and Sara became fast friends and hope to have many adventures.

One of the first things they did when Aslan arrived was to go outside and play in the hollyhocks. These are usually too tall for little dolls and lions, but the wind had knocked them over.

Sara is wearing a Snow White dress that we bought on a little plastic doll from Dollar General for $1. There is no lion in the Sleeping Beauty story, but neither Aslan or Sara seems to care.
