Hula Girls
Miss Hawaii was a part of my Great-Aunt Nette's foreign doll collection. I inherited these dolls after Aunt Nette passed away in 1988. She lived in Ottawa and taught English. She loved to travel and every place she went she bought a doll.

Sara wanted to learn to hula dance, so of course
Miss Hawaii offered to teach her. I made Sara's
grass skirt costume from embroidery floss.
