About Saraiki

Background: Saraiki or Seraiki it is the same thing i.e. it is a regional language of Pakistan. To this extent almost everyone knows. But no one knows  a bit more   than this, why is it so?? Ask yourself. Go on. Well, because people belonging to Saraiki or Seraiki origin have sort of stopped working for the cause of this beautiful and sweet language.

Saraiki People: Mostly people belonging to the 'Saraiki belt' that is Multan and nearby places and people in rural areas in the interior of Sindh speak Saraiki. When Saraiki people migrate to cities or rather urban areas they indulge their kids in some other language which is the major defect in the back bone of Saraiki. No doubt there are always exceptions. At the same time there are people who pay their respects to the beautiful language. People who feel proud in speaking Saraiki say that it is like French in Europe. It's high time Saraiki people gather at one place and join their hands to unite under one label that being Saraiki.

Saraiki or Seraiki: The actual thought behind Saraiki and Seraiki is the same that being that it is a language but the point here is that the different way of spelling it. Spelling it either ways is right but most people use Saraiki and are not acquainted to Seraiki but it is actually upto the people who speak it. It's completely okay to spell it Saraiki or Seraiki. Anyway all we are concerned with is the language and not its spelling.
