							I devoted myself to Kirk,  folowing him around to gigs, standing in the wings with love pouing from my eyes.  I knew every lyric and guitar riff.  The hard-core punks eyed me suspiciously : They didn't want to belive Kirk was bent.  The band knew about me and Kirk.  Stan Stammers the bass player asked, "Are you and Kirk....your know ??".  I laughed. "What do you think?" He said Kirk had written a new song, "The original Sin".  he knew  it was about me. Since you came in my life I've had to rearrange my whole mentality, my sexuality "The Original Sin" was a double A-side of the first Theatre Of Hate single.  My life was fulfilled :  I had a song written in my honour.  When Kirk sang it on stage it felt like he heally loved me. I wanted  him to express that love openly,  but there was too much fear.  he was the one who couldn't handle it.  One time he kissed me in the back of the tour van, It was as if he was trying to prove something.                Boy George - Take It Like A Man
