I have to say that I loved Sydney the very best! I lived in a great little flat in the Bondi Beach area and fell in love with everything! The area is full of different cultures and people. The beach is just beautiful. There were other areas I found very charming, one of those was Manly. Very quiet and the beach is small but very friendly. I really liked the Rocks, the oldest part of Sydney with tons of history. I would recommend buying or from the Library any books on Sydney if you go to visit. But you can find lots & lots of stuff on Sydney in Sydney! The hostels are really great and the whole City is set up for backpackers! So the girls were in The big city! Now we found out that the N.S.W. people do not really get on with the Queenslanders! LOL friendly bugging. We were taken for" bannana's because we were still wearing our worn in foot wear! TheQueenslanders refer to the N.S.W. as "cockroaches!"
So not much different from any large country trying to compete with each other! LOL But I loved Sydney! We went to all the touristy stuff again! LOL I loved the sharks in the Bay! REALLY! I loved the ferries they have going all over the Bay, best in the world! We went out alot and meet many great Aussie's! More pic to come on this page!
