This is the way to go for installing fonts. These instructions are also included in the fonts.zip file. Please follow them as written. ___________________________________________________________________ a) • SELECT THE FONT FILE. Right click on it, select the option save it to the disk. Save it on a floppy or any other folder that you can get to later on prior to installing the font. (In the following directions I assume that the font file is saved on a floppy disk drive A:). ___________________________________________________________________ b) • Click on the 'start' button at the left bottom of the screen • select SETTINGS --> CONTROL PANEL -->FONTS FOLDER • open the fonts folder • click on FILE • select INSTALL NEW FONTS from the pop-down menu. • On the pop-up dialogue box, under drives SELECT A: • TICK 'COPY FONTS TO FONTS FOLDER' at the bottom of the box • Now it should show the font file in LIST OF FONTS (The box immediately 1st in this dialogue box.) • It may fail to see the font sitting on the floppy. In that case you just click on X at the right upper corner of "Add fonts" dialogue box. And reopen it and do the same things that you did in this section (b). • Now you see the font name as a TTF file in List of Fonts box. • Click on it and click on OK button. ___________________________________________________________________ • Now the font should be available to you for use with all applications running on your Windows OS. ___________________________________________________________________
