I wanted to let you know that April is Child Abuse Prevention Month.  The Community Leaders and other homesteaders here at South Beach are sponsoring our own Blue Ribbon Campaign and would like your help.

Ways that you can help us here to spread the word and get out the information about what the Blue Ribbon stands for is:

1)  Display a blue ribbon on your site and explain what the ribbon is for
2) Go one step further and add your site to the webring
3) Go forth into your communities and spread the blue ribbon story
 

The Blue Ribbon Story

In the spring of 1989, a Virginia grandmother began the blue ribbon campaign as a tribute to her grandson.  The three year old died at the hands of his mother's abusive boyfriend.  Sincethat time, concerned citizens all over the country hae worn the blue ribbion as a symbol of the need to prevent child abuse and neglect.

Please wear the ribbion during April to show your support for children and families
