Steve & Carolyn's Vacation Home
Our house is located at 409 Delano St., Marion Massachusetts.

Marion is a small, quiet, New England town.  It is not overly commercialized so it is a great place to relax, but with all of the necessary conveniences and lots of fun things to do to!

The house has 6 rooms, 4 bedrooms, a screened porch, patio, and a beautifully landscaped yard.  The yard is enclosed by a 6' fence for privacy and to make sure you always know where the kids are playing.  This makes it a great place to relax.

The house is fully furnished with furniture, TV & VCR, Washer & Dryer, Microwave, Dishwasher, Coffee Maker, Kitchen wears, Charcoal BBQ, and Lawn Chairs.

There is a beach just down the street from us that is part of a nature reserve.  It makes for a very nice walk.
The town has two beaches that are just a short drive.  Silvershell Beach is a beautiful, sandy beach.  It is located in the outer harbor of Sippican Harbor.  It is a great place to swim, build sand castles, watch the boats sail in & out of the harbor, or just relax.  This beach has lifeguards.  It has bathrooms and a playground nearby.  Parking is readily available.

The second Beach in Marion is further out on the peninsula.  It offers great views of Buzzard's Bay and an excellent place to watch the sailboat races.  The start/finish line is often just off the edge of the beach.

Marion is located on Buzzards Bay, a boaters paradise -  weather you sail or motorboat.  Fishing is excellent too. The Bay extends 30 miles across from the Rhode Island Sound northeasterly to the entrance of the Cape Cod Canal and is separated from Vineyard Sound by the Elizabeth Island chain.   There are numerous harbors, Islands, and beaches to explore.  Take a ride up the Cape Cod Canal, or sail across the Bay to Falmouth.  Cruise through Woods Hole to Martha's Vineyard, or find your favorite fishing hole.

There is plenty to do in Marion in addition to the beaches, boating and fishing.  The Water Wizz has great water slides.  There are go cart tracks and a batting cage in Wareham, and Edaville Railroad is close by.  There's also two golf course, a state forest.  Be sure to check out the links on the left side.  I've also added some pictures.
