| As part of the TVB Anniversary celebrations, TVB will be airing 13 of most recent telemovies productions, and these were introduced at a press Conference yesterday, where many of cast members were present. Among them, were the four favourites for the female lead role : Maggie Cheung, Jessica Hsuan, Kenix Kwok and Flora Chan. Despite the fierce competition, they all appeared very friendly to each otherwhen they attended the event together. Despite the reports of falling out with each other, Charmaine Sheh and Maggie Cheung were deep in conversation, although her good friend Sonija Kwok was absent through illness. Charmaine's first telemovie was "The Final Shot", filmed two years ago, but her appearance has changed alot since then and she darent watch it. She says "My hair was short and died red at the time and it looked funny". Charmaine wore a sexy dress at the Sales Presentation and stole the limelight, so she was asked whether her outfitf for the Anniversary will be sexier. "I already had it made, but i don't know what the design will be, and even if it is sexy, it will still have to fall within the boundaries of televison standards. [Did you have it made because you didnt want to clash with anyone else's outfit? ] "No, it is becuase i don't have time to choose an outfit". |

| The TVB anniversary takes place tonight, and the gala celebration special will be airing at 8pm live at Tseung Kwn O, TVB City. The show will be hosted by masters of ceremonies - Lydia Shum, Liza Wang, Carol Cheng, Priscilla Koo, Eric Tsang, Natilis Chang, Tchang Chi Fung and Sek Shau . The top five nominees for "My favourite Male lead" and "My Favourite Female Lead" were announced as follows - Male Leads- Roger kwok, Kwong Wa, Bobby Au Yeung, Francis Ng and Julian Cheung Female Leads - Jessica Hsuan, Charmaine Sheh, Kenix Kwok, Flora Chan and Maggie Cheung When the nominee's for females were asked to pose for a photo, They daren't touch the awards to avoid gossip. Charmaine says "I didnt touch the awards, but i hope i get a chance later. I pick Jessica to win and as for "Best Ensemble" i would pick Damina Lam and Angie Chiu becuase they are really good partnership on the screen" [what about you and Julian?] We took the award in past years" |
