- HP DeskScan 4C/T Scanner. DONATED TO GOODWILL 4-11-04! Plugged it in and everything seems to work, although I don't have the right SCSI card required to hook it up to my computer. I believe this was manufactured in 1995. Came with two lids, one with a lamp inside, the other just white. - Office Chair. I found this a while back and almost forgot that it was scavenged. Anyway, here it is. The pneumatic lift doesn't work and it doesn't have any wheels, but a chair is a chair, right? - Samsonite Briefcase. No key came with it, and the lock was locked. I opened up the lock mechanism and removed the little rotating thing with the arms that prevents it from opening. The clasps will keep it closed, but it is no longer protected from scoundrels who want to open it up to feast on the precious brains within. No matter, after some dishsoap and Armor-all, it looks like brand new. Unfortunately I have no use for a briefcase, but it's a nice find just the same. - Three way speaker box with 9 inch woofer. Mouse over the picture to remove the cover. Small tear near the bottom of the fabric, but I plan on recovering it. The midrange and tweeter speakers were removed, but I've got the other two speakers to handle those frequencies. I covered the other two holes, leaving the one port open for the bass and making for one mean no-cost woofer. - Stereo Stand. In this poor-quality photo you can see my whole trash system assembled (except for the speakers on top). I got the stand from the same house that threw out that monster speaker to the right of it. Anyone not knowing better may think a setup like this would cost a few hundred dollars. Even I have trouble believing that all this was free! - JBL Speakers. Okay, these weren't free, but for the price I paid, they practically were. $20 at Salvation Army for a pair of NEW JBL TLX105 speakers. MSRP new: $139.99 - Winerack. I think it's a winerack, anyway. Have a look - VCR Guts. The VCR didn't work, so I took what I could use from it and got rid of it. |
