MY AWARD WINNING POEM, engraved somewhere in the VA State Capitol: (at least that's what they tell me) THE WONDER OF GOD |
The wonder of God, I see every day, from the rolling hills to the port or bay. God's majesty it surely tells, loud and clear as cathedral bells. The wonder of God, I see in love, in peace floating o'er the earth - a dove, happiness like a river calm, praising God in a quiet psalm. The wonder of God in all I see, the struggle for justice and equality, for the rights of man and humanity, from bondage of Satan and tyranny. The wonder of God I see in all things, in every person, in all living things, and all creation proudly sings, "Great wonder of God, what joy He brings!" |
