If they call it a building when they are making it then why don't they change the name when they are done?

Extension 1 (Hen-House)
Cost: $5,000
Lumber Needed: 420
What It Does: The hen-house upgrade allows your henhouse to hold more chickens. Now, instead of only being able to hold 5, you can hold double the amount, 10. It also gives you another incubator so you can hatch 2 chickens at a time.

Extension 2 (House 1)
Cost: $4,700
Lumber Needed: 370
What It Does: The 1st House upgrade gives you a kitchen and a cabinet. In the kitchen, you can begin cooking. You can also store extra food in the fridge. The cabinet is used for holding all non-food items that you don't want to carry.

Extension 3 (Animal Barn)
Cost: $6,800
Lumber Needed: 500
What It Does: The barn upgrade does about the same thing as the hen-house extension. It allows you to hold more animals. Instead of only being able to hold 10 animals, you can now hold 2. I'm not sure if you have to have 10 or each (10 sheep/10 cow) or if you can have just 20 of one. Either way, you can have 20. You also get a 2nd birthing station so you can have 2 pregnant animals at the same time.

Extension 4 (House 2)
Cost: $10,000
Lumber Needed: 750
What It Does: The 2nd house upgrade gives you a larger, roomier house. It is required in order for you to get married. This extension gives you a seperate bedroom that includes 2 beds, a fireplace and a vanity (with mirror and cosmetics) for your, soon to be, loving wife.

Extension 5 (Hot-House)
Cost: $30,000
Lumber Needed: 580
What It Does: The hot-house is a lot like a greenhouse. Inside tere is a 7x7 (49 crop squares) piece of land. In the hot-house you can grow any crop from any season. It allows you to buy any crop you wan from the supermarket too. The only disadvantage is that your hot-house can be blown down in a heavy storm.

~*~Just For Kicks~*~
You can buy lumber from Gotz (the carpenter) for $50 a piece of you can get it yourself by chopping up stumps and sticks you find around your farm and on mother's hill. You have to make sure you have an upgraded axe to chop up stuff though.

Am I Missing something? Thought so...
