| Al Scheckla started Scheckla Trucking 63 years ago in 1946 in the town of Tigard Or. He started hauling Firewood and other things in his 1937 Chevy Flatbed Truck. He bought his first 3 axle Logging Trucks in 1949. He moved to Orick, Ca in 1954. Then he moved again to Blue Lake Ca in 1964 where he and his cousin had 50 Trucks and were hauling Chips and Logs. In 1972 he moved his part of the business to Burney, Ca still hauling Logs and Chips. In 1986 the business started taking another turn as we started doing everything else and still hauling Logs. Today Log Hauling and Chipping is a part of the business again and we are still doing Flatbeds, Vans, Tankers, Containers, and Intermodel Van Trailers. Al passed away Sept of 2004. We miss him so much. We will always remember him as the "BEST" BOSS, HUSBAND, FATHER,FATHER INLAW, GRANDFATHER, GREAT GRANDFATHER AND FRIEND!!!!!!!! GOD BLESS YOU AL* YOU ARE LOVED** |
