April Madness

"Well, I think you should take it off, Ray." Fraser stated rather petulantly.

"Nope. Ain't gonna do it, Frase." Ray said, shaking his head. "He'll just have to deal with it." He said as he glared darkly at the obviously upset wolf. Said wolf harrumphed deeply as he pointedly turned his back on the blond detective.

"But, Ray you know he is rather sensitive about this particular subject."

"Frase, he's a wolf. He does not even know what the subject is.."

"Well, as you know he is very intelligent and ..."An enthusiastic "Wooof" interrupted Fraser's train of thought.

"Don't care how smart he is. He's a dog." A highly indignant "Mmmrrfff " was uttered by said individual.

"Now you know that is just adding insult to injury. You know Diefenbaker is quite proud of his lupine ancestry."

"All I know for sure is, I'm not taking off my new favorite T-shirt, just because some wolf is offended.." Ray said as he puffed out his crimson clad chest with the picture of the University of Maryland mascot emblazoned on it. Wolves can't read, anyway."

"Well, maybe it is the rather bellicose portrayal of the Terrapin on your chest that has him upset."

"See. I told you, they were natural enemies. You wouldn't believe me, but this is proof."

"The only proof it is, is of how far you will go to bait that poor animal.. Really, Ray wearing a 'Fear the Turtle' shirt just to get to him, is too much even for you."

"My cousin in Baltimore sent me this shirt and I am gonna wear it for the finals tonight, whether a certain someone likes it or not." Ray snorted.

He was answered by a much more forceful snort from the other end of the room. Fraser sighed. "I have never seen him so upset, he wouldn't even touch his pizza."

Ray said: "He'll get over it. The furball...", more lupine muttering. "Isn't he supposed to be deaf?"

"So he tells me."

" Fraser that animal has you so whipped."

"Well, you know, you let a wolf save your life and you pay and you pay."

"Fraser, shut up and watch the game , yah freak."
