About Joker
Joker is my pet baby Chinese Water Dragon.  They are native to Asia in the tropical climates.  I am assuming it is a he but only time will tell. Tricia has one of the best water dragons sites on the web and she describes the way to tell males and females as "males develop larger heads, large jowls, and a larger crest behind the neck, the femoral pores of adult males are slightly larger than that of the females.  When dragons are mature and able to breed, they are generally about 2 years old and 2 feet in length.  They are generally considered adults when they have mature colors just under their chins.  From what I can tell it is very difficult to tell if you have a male or female until they are mature. They generally have to be about twenty inches or longer in total length before their secondary sexual characteristics begin to develop thus making males and females easily distinguishable from one another." So I won't know what my baby is for almost another year.  No I haven't had Joker a year but judging by his size that's about how old he really is.  He is about 3 inches long snout to vent and about 12 inches long from his snout to the end of his tail.

Joker's personality is kind of goofy and he loves to run and jump around my room when I let him out.  He lives in a 36" x 18" x 12" tank for the time being.  He will eventually, hopefully soon, be moved in to a homemade vivarium that will be about 6' x 6' x 3' and maybe get a friend to live with.

Well I hope you come back and visit soon as I will be updating this page regularly. Both Joker and I thank you for your visit!
