| Hello, my name is Georgia. When my child went off to college I was advised to take up a hobby to fill the empty times. After throwing out a lot of ideas like ceramics and floral arranging, I settled on candle making. I remember making candles as a teenager and having a lot of fun with it. Besides, candles burn up and you don't have to dust them! My hobby quickly became an obsession. I did a lot of research and starting buying better supplies and strove to make good candles. I joined a candle makers' forum with a group of great people who are willing to share their experience. Gradually, I wasn't just making good candles, I was making real quality candles. I wanted to share my creations, but I wanted to do it right. So I established Scintillating Scents. I have never been happier! My learning continues every day. All of my candles are tested for a safe burn with optimum scent. I use lead-free wicks and the best wax and scents I can find. I hope you enjoy my candles as much as I do! |
