First Abstract
October 2000 - I
Person, candy rope, ground (all from Corel Photo Paint 9.0)
My very first attempt using Corel Photo Paint 9.0. Just some simple cloning, shadowing and brush strokes. The script used is a Greek script based on a poem from my friend. Overall, its pretty okay. The best part in here is the shadows, luv them. ^.^
Radiant
October 2000 - II
An art from "Tokyo Love Story" book
An extremely complex image. This is the first time for me to really experiment on Corel Photo Paint 9. Lots of layers, functions and effects have been put in it.. The result is not as good as it has been expected though. -_-; Uh well well. . ^_^;
Shield and Ceramics
October 2000 - III
An ancient shield
An ordinary image, I think. Made 90% in Corel Photo Paint and the other 10% is Adobe. I was just experimenting on the special effects in Corel, including mosaic, crystallize, etc... and this is the result. The hue and texture make it looks something like in the museum. *shrugs*
Illusion Eye
October 2000 - IV
None
This is probably the weirdest image so far. Made solely in Adobe Photoshop. For the quote in there.. "God tell me you are not the one etc" I really did not know why I put that, it is the first sentence that I saw from a fiction book. -_-;; You can see that the background is really just scribbles. The eye, however, IMHO is good; the eyeball particularly is cool ^^
Vivid Tokyo
november 2000 - I
Squall photo and city of Tokyo postcard
Hated this image at first but now I really liked it.. despite the fact that squall is in it, I think the colour and the inverted Tokyo image is pretty cool too.. Dont ask me why I named it "Vivid Tokyo", it is just the first two words that popped out from my brain. ^_^; In my opinion, this is the normallest image around. ^^;;;
Butterflies Reflection
november 2000 - II
Tamahome photo, my phone and old keyboard captured by my digital camera and butterflies and sparkly ball from Corel
A weird combination and texture. Sunday morning... started off with Photoshop, scribbling around as usual and ended up with red and grey. Then I abstractly created those geometric lines as a part of the bg. Then I cloned Tamahome's cool eyes but soon after that my mind was blank. After a loooong time.. electronical stuff are decided to be applied (ie phone and keyboard) then I went to Corel and see what pictures does it have.. butterflies! This is it: Tamahome and sparkly ball surrounded with butterflies. @_@ After decorating it with sparkles, light effects, reflection and shadow.. well.. here we go!
Aoi Ayumi
December 2000 - I
Two Ayumi Hamasaki photos and a clock
I made this image on the day AFTER I saw the video clip of Ayumi Hamasaki's new song "M" (its a SO-cool song!) Initially I just planned to involve some Ayumi's photos into my abstract cg, but then, as you can see, I ended up making a FULL Ayumi CG. I love the colour in here, so peacefully blue...
Vi-o-lin ! Lu-v-er
February 2001 - I
Photo of Hongkong, a violin and a girl
uh.. =( for my own eyes, this is SO not a satisfactory work.. there is something wrong with my taste at the moment.. the frame is quite wrecked and everything doesnt look right somehow.. However, on a brighter note, I think the heart shape itself is pretty wicked! =) (I did it when I was practising my new graphic tablet)
Rinoa Heartily
February 2001 - II
Rinoa image and a butterfly
Yay! so happy! ^.^ I did this just after I finished my chemistry prac... its better than the violin one isnt it? Started off with Corel Photo Paint, painted the background, then cloned Rinoa's image on it.. then played around with circle geometric lines.. Rendering, finishing and completing it off with Adobe.. phew! pretty! Usually when I try to combine two theme-colour together (eg. darkblue and pink), it turns out very odd; but this time, it doesnt! I really like the geometric circle thing with the glowing lens around it! ^o^ uhm, and isnt the squaresoft graphic is just gorgeous?
Nagoya, Japan, Universe
February 2001 - III
Nagoya Tower, an ancient shield
Ever notice that this site is lack of green? This is my first greeny artwork! This piece required lotz of layers to do so.. with massive of pale '01010001010' merged in the background. It is pretty abstract-coloured, but it doesnt turn THAT bad!
