Dear Expectant Parents,

We are Scott and Melissa and we are grateful that you are taking some time to get to know our family.  We have been married for over nine years and are extremely excited about the opportunity to expand our family through adoption.  We were blessed with the birth of our son, Michael, in January of 2003, but continuing battles with infertility have prevented us from having another child which we have always dreamed of.  Adoption has always been a desirable option for both of us and raising and nurturing a child, biological or not, carries with it the same rewards, responsibilities and challenges.  We both grew up in families with brothers and sisters and we realize the benefits and importance of having siblings to learn from and interact with on a daily basis.  The added benefit of knowing that we are in a wonderful position to offer a child the unconditional love, care, and support needed to get a great start in life makes adoption an even more fulfilling choice.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you consider this very important and difficult decision.
