A small tribute to each of my closet friends:
Barbara---(lifetime) you are more like a sister to me then a friend. For the last 35 years you have been my best friend and hopefully that will never change. Always remember, even though we live so far apart, you are always close in our heart. Diane, you and I (the three muskerteers) have so many wonderful memories together and when we finally do get together it's so nice to be able to reminisce about all those years.
(2005)Now that your back and so close I'm amazed how we never find the time to get together. We will never forget all the wonderful years we had before life changed on us. We will always and forever will remain your friend no matter what so if you ever need us we are just a phone call away and we pray that some day you'll come back into our lives the way it used to be. |

Karen---what can I say you have been there for me time and time again. Your friendship has meant so much to me over the years. It's so hard to thank you in words because words cannot express how much I appreciate your friendship and all the things you have done for me. You are in every sense of the word a " true friend" and I'm so glad I met you. |

Dawn---you walked into my life at a very trying, difficult time which was the death of my father. Dad made friends with you first and then his death came to bring our friendship together. I was alone and frightened and you came to help as much as you could. When I think back to that moment I realize that it created a special bond between us. You were my angel in disguise and to this day your wings have carried me through so many trials and tribulations. Thank you for everything. |

Jo and Ozzie---your friendship has meant so much. You both have taken me under your wings and have given me support, guidance, encouragement and a shoulder to cry on if I need it. REASON, SEASON OR LIFETIME
People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.
When someone is in your life for a reason, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally orspiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.

When people come into your life for a season, it is because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.
Lifetime relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway); and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but, friendship is clairvoyant. I know why you are in my life and I love you for that reason. |
