This classic movie house Built in 1927 with an East Indies architectural motif is the
Landmark Oriental Theater, where I saw several of the arts films and films that had limited release.  The the spacious seating provides a large amount of legroom and creats the illusion that this in not a huge space.  It is huge.  The screen is huge. The space you see could hold three normal theaters, plus there are two more normal theaters that have been added underneath the balcony.

It is part of a theater chain,
Landmark Theaters, that specializes in independent, alternative, and foreign films.

The theater has an original
Kimball Theater Pipe Organ, the largest of its kind in any movie theater in the country, that is played before the 7pm time slot movies in the main theater every Saturday night.  The link gives a better description of  Kimball Theater Pipe Organs, but the one pictured is a bit smaller than the one at the Oriental Theater.
