Synopsis: The film is about two different sisters who share an apartment on the south side of Milwaukee. Isabel the artist takes care of Audra, and stabilizes situations when things get bad. Audra is the younger sister and a scientist. She suffers from unclear emotional problems and is subject to panic. Audra is both strong and fragile, so she is able to help Isabel when she has a crisis of her own. Quick Review: This is a refreshing and well done independent film with believable characters that don't talk down to the audience. There is lots of humor, and a multi level story to make this an enjoyable experience. The bonds and tensions in their current lives are marvelously paralleled with scenes from the sister's childhood that add substance to the story. This will have a stronger connection to viewers who are at least in their 20's. |
