Synopsis:
A British spy is sent to Panama to investigate the political security of the canal as punishment for screwing up a previous assignment.  He blackmails the Tailor with a shady past to help him find information.  The Tailor uses his natural lying talents  both as a salesman, and to create information so that the British will give him more cash.  The corruption that is Latin America is still dominating, but not as obvious as under George Bush's Noriega.

Review:
This movie does not know what it wants to be, and suffers badly from a lack of direction.  The very weak story dooms this movie even though the cast was good at their jobs.  The silly sex scenes did have the audience laughing, but most laughter was sporadic throughout the movie.  Geoffrey Rush does great as the spy who is as passionate about his tailoring as he is about his new country.  Pierce Brosnan does an adequate portrayal as a spy considering that this movie is more of a comedy than anything else.  Jamie Lee Curtis does all right as the wife of the tailor with her own reasons, and she gets to display her boobs.  Brendan Gleeson has a dynamic character to portray, and he did it well.  I am glad that I did not pay to see this film.
