I am Catholic teenager and I constantly have to defend my faith and I feel as though I shouldn't have to. In particular, there is this one boy that is in my language arts class, who if it can't be scientifcally backed-up he can't believe and I think I may like him, but him having the view that he does, I wouldn't want to betray the church, so please give me advice on what I should do.
I want you to know that I do not understand how a woman can actually think that abortions are okay, especially a catholic woman. I'm pro-life, so you wonder if they are proud of being pro-death?

Dear A,
Thank you for your email. Sorry I am so slow getting back to you. I have an article and some links regarding science and religion. What counts most of course is not argument, but prayer. My advice in general is not to get emotionally involved with any boy - especially one who does not share your beliefs. Have you shared all this w/ your mom? (Remember the Fourth Commandment.)
Prayers. God bless,
Fr. Bloom
P.S. I agree it is hard to imagine any woman or man thinking abortion is OK. I often ask what has happened that so many would condemn their own child to death. In some way the blame must spread out to all of us who have created - and who maintain - this culture. What do you think?
