Correct. There is no "original sin of sex." The Catechism describes the sin of the first man: "He chose himself over and against God, against the requirements of his creaturely status and therefore against his own good. Created in a state of holiness, man was destined to be fully 'divinized' by God in glory. Seduced by the devil, he wanted to 'be like God', but without God, before God, and not in accordance with God." (#398)

Because of original sin, our sexual desires have become corrupted, but they have not lost their basic goodness (see previous.) We find ourselves in a state where our motives are constantly mixed. St. Paul poignantly describes our dilemma: "For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?" (Rom 7:22-24)
