| Objective: To create a tool to use for personal, minor first aid purposes To learn the basics of first aid Materials: film canisters hole punch or an awl yarn or sturdy string band-aids waxed string, like dental floss sample size ointments other first aid supplies stickers, glitter, glue, anything else to decorate with Age level: 5 and up Time: 30 minutes Description: Describe, briefly, first aid’s usefulness and basic ways to help someone if they are hurt. Have everyone create a first aid necklace by stringing a long piece of yarn through the lid of a film canister. Inside, the container, place all first aid tools, describing each and it’s usefulness. Decorate the container. |
