Never popular enough to warrant a video game of his own, Nick Fury has appeared in a number of games as a supporting player.

Nick Fury has featured to date in two Punisher video game both in arcade and home system counterparts. Fury's gaming legacy began with the Punisher' original game on the Nintendo SNES and Sega Genesis systems. As these games typically offered the player at least one other character to choose to be, the game makers must have found it a problem as the Punisher has no other regular cast to speak of (aside from Micro). Its no wonder Nick Fury was picked as the alternate; like the Punisher, he is a non-super powered Marvel hero who packs a pistol.

The superior arcade version featured more violence and Nick Fury smoking his trademark cigar while the home version was sanitized and smoke-free. (see left comparison)

Nick Fury featured prominently on various promotions for the video game.

Following the 2004 Punisher film with Thomas Jane, THQ adapted the character to the video screens, and this time Nick Fury again joins the Punisher as well as Black Widow and Iron Man. Of all the hero cameos in the game, Nick Fury features most prominently, aiding the Punisher on Kriegkoff's island. The game was released for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and the PC. It should be noted that only the PC version includes the full uncensored game. The game sold over two-million copies.

The Fantastic Four video game adaption of the movie took root in the Ultimate Universe with appearances by General Nick Fury, voiced by actor Andrea Ware. Ware would later voice the character in two animated films, Ultimate Avengers and Ultimate Avengers 2. Other appearances by Ultimate Nick Fury include X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse (voiced by Khary Payton) and Ultimate Spider-man (voiced by Dave Fennoy)

Nick Fury's most high profile appearance in a video game thus far has been as part of the ultra-popular Marvel Ultimate Alliance game. The game's opening features an attack on the SHIELD helicarrier by a new Masters of Evil headed by Doctor Doom. Gameplay features levels set aboard the helicarrier and later at a mobile SHIELD facility known as Omega Base.

The game also features Dum Dum Dugan as a non-playable character. Both Dugan and Nick Fury are voiced by actor Scott MacDonald.
