![]() ![]() How do I create a draft view whose top half is sectioned and the bottom unsectioned ? - Thad Rhoades <thadr@yahoo.co.uk> Know that you can create the cutting plane using multiple lines too. Pass the plane as shown in figure. This cuts the part in the top portion only and comes out in the bottom portion. This should give you the desired section view. | ![]() |
![]() ![]() How to create composite hatch like in AutoCAD ? - Sadanand T.V.S. <sadasukhi@rediffmail.com> If I got your question correct, you can aply a fill in the same area more than once. This would create a composite or new hatch pattern using different angles and scale values. | ![]() |
![]() ![]() What is the new break command in V16 good for ? - K. Sheds <kylesheds2004@hotmail.com> Although thereare several cases where it can be used, here is oen example that I came across recently. The exact case is not reproduced here, but the problem was something as shown in figure. A lofted protrusion was created between a rectangle and a 5 sided figure. The object on left was created by default by Solid Edge. Whereas the part on right shows how the result is affected when one of the sides of the pentagon is divided using the new break command. With the new vertex matching, the second result was the desired one. | ![]() |
