I used census records for my source to compile some of these families but have not included all the family members here. I have tried to list census record information so that you may continue your research.  I will NOT list any living person; so I usually stop with the 1910 or 1920 census.  NOTE: Some researchers use the initial P. for John...personally I have never seen it.

… 2 John SEIBER Rev. was born about 1795 in Maryland to Philip SEIBER and UNKNOWN.  He died 18 November 1861.  John married Malinda 'Milly' LIVELY, daughter of John LIVELY and Clara CARNALL, about 1815 to 1817 in Anderson County, Tennessee.  Malinda was born 23 February 1800 in Tennessee.  She died 9 May 1882.

NOTE: (1)John owned much coal land about 5000 acres surveyed 1834 on New River.
(2)Their first born children have not been proven but this is how I find them.  In looking at the census I find that they had 14 sons and 3 daughters.  I took the 1830,1840 and 1850 census and worked them listing these children by age groups.  I will not go into it on this list because you can find this on Jeanette West Webpages listed under Fact and Theory by Sandra Anderson… (3)Middle initial P. has not been proven.

……3 Jordan SEIBER was born 13 April 1842 in Anderson County, Tennessee to Rev. John SEIBER and Malinda 'Milly' LIVELY.  He died 21 March 1923.  Jordan married Jane ISEBEL on 23 January 1860 in Anderson County, Tennessee.  Jane was born about 1843.

MARRIAGE: Jordan Seiber to Jane Isebel 23 Jan 1860 by S Rich in Anderson Co, TN. Also listed Seiber, Jordan to Jane Isebol 1-23-1860 (1-23-1860) [A] in "Early East TN Marriages" by Sistler, groom pg 325.

Known child for Jordan and Jane:

……… 4 Philip SEIBER was born about 1861 in Tennessee.


NOTE: Stephen SEIBER was born about 1848 in Anderson County, Tennessee.
Stephen was on the 1850 census with John and Malinda but no other record is found. Could he be a child of one of the older sons Levi or Philip.
