I sat out in the garden,
The trees would sway and bend
My thoughts began to wander,
To you, my Special Friend.
Although I've never met you
Your heart I know so well
We tell each other secrets,
Of those, the times we fell.
Who would have ever thought it
We'd meet across the miles
To laugh and cry,
And not ask why
And share our cyber smiles.
There were times that I had woes
Alone here I would sit
My dreams were gone,
My spirits low,
I made no sense of it.
I click on my computer
And say a simple "Hi"
You knew that I was feeling sad,
You wouldn't let me cry.
You're always there my cyber friend
To cheer me up and yet,
I couldn't love you more, my friend,
Although we've never met.
